The March for Our Lives is On!

As the March for Our Lives website states, on March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end this epidemic of mass school shootings. The collective voices of the March For Our Lives movement will be heard.

After each mass shooting, the public becomes enraged, they send their condolences, the gun debate sparks up again, lawmakers do nothing, and people eventually forget, allowing the cycle to start again. March for Our Lives is aiming to break this cycle and we all should join them. Guns are an equal opportunity killer. Let’s all become agents of change and make the difference that we wish to see in our country. March to show that we haven’t forgotten and we won’t back down.

Because we demand not to be killed in school.

Because teachers shouldn’t have to be bodyguards.

Because parents should not worry that their children might never come home from school.

Because while thoughts and prayers are nice, actions speak louder than words.

Because classrooms should be empty for snow days, not funerals.

Because seven American children or teens are shot and killed every day.

Because politicians should be more concerned about protecting the lives of their constituents than appeasing the NRA.

How many have to die before we solve this problem?! So, on March 24, 2018, go out and advocate for change; make your voices heard and make the nation listen. For more information, visit:
