Communities United Against Hate and Our Voices Matter are launching a year-long training series to engage the public around the issue of hate crimes and bias related incidents.
This first module’s training will discuss what hate crime trends on the national and local levels and review what constitutes a hate crime. We will provide a legal overview of the relevant federal and state laws, and what to do if you experience or witness hate. The training will include hypotheticals and group discussions. Coffee will be provided.
